Slow cooker beef stroganoff

1 lb. beef stew meat
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 jar sliced mushrooms (I use fresh)
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 cup sour cream
3 cups hot rice or noodles

In slow cooker, mix beef, onion, soup, mushrooms, and pepper.

Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until tender.

Stir sour cream into mixture, serve over noodles or rice.
